What I'm Watching
The Day After the Day After
I will post tomorrow after reviewing the global market response to “Operation Epic Fury.”
Any analysis today would be speculative with respect to market and economic effects without market data to inform a point of view.
We assume oil prices will rise amid concerns about reduced shipments of oil going through the Strait of Hormuz, amid an attempted closure by Iran and the withdrawal of tanker insurance by LLoyds of London.
Still, as I have learned from experience, markets often anticipate outcomes not envisioned by outside observers so, in my judgement, it’s best to watch tomorrow’s action before offering an market and economic impact assessment.
Thank you for your patience.
Ron

Big oil wants markets to rise. Big oil want the lighter crude.
Hi, Ron. I enjoy watching you on Eleventh Hour.
I just wanted to tell you the word judgment doesn't have 2 "e"s.
